Autumn has started again, it is dark outside early and there are plenty of pumpkins available again. It's time for Halloween again! In America it has been a well-known and festive ritual for years. In the Netherlands it is increasingly upcoming. Are you a Halloween fan? We have some great tips for you to organize a successful Halloween Party.

Decorate your house

Decorating your house creepy is of course a lot of fun if you're a Halloween fan. The colors black and orange are the colors that go with it. To get in the mood, you can create beautiful decorations together with your children. Get the pumpkins in the house, scoop them together and make beautiful figures in the pumpkin. Put a tea light in it and voilà ... is eerily cozy at the front door. Hang garlands and balloons, decorate the windows with window stickers and you are all set for a real Halloween Party!

Halloween treats

Use the flesh of the pumpkin for a delicious autumn-like soup. Naturally, a lot of sweet treats are part of Halloween. Bake the most beautiful cupcakes, present them in Halloween cupcake trays and pour limo into paper cups with Halloween straws. Kids love it! It is also a party that is not only fun for children, but more and more adults also love it. The anticipation alone is fun!

• Halloween means creepy, so set off an exciting treasure hunt and take a walk when it gets dusk.

• Make a fun Halloween garland with the children to hang in the house. Get a sheet of paper and have children draw spiders and pumpkins. Color them in, cut them out and stick the drawings on a long baker's rope. This way you have an original Halloween garland.

• Fill a can with red ranja, that is bats and spider blood. Children (if they are very small and start dreaming) will love this!

• Make spiders from black drop laces. You can make cobwebs easily and in the old-fashioned way with chestnut, skewers and wool. Put the skewers in the chestnut and wrap a web of wool around it. Fun activity with the children.

• Are you not a fan of pumpkins? You can also hollow out a pineapple. Save the top and put it on top of it as a tuft of hair. Also gives a very nice effect!
